Shot wide open but still underexposed. The color correction by FINDLab is amazing!
A Beginner’s Guide to C-41 Developing at Home (It’s a Lot Easier than You Think!) — Part One of Two
People are often surprised that I develop and even cross process my own negatives in the comfort of my own home, especially after they’ve seen my photos. And I am often surprised that they’re surprised, considering how easy it is to do.
well, will probably not try but this is interesting nevertheless

Hi, I just got 100. Unbelievable. Thanks to you. I hope you’ll continue to enjoy the ride.
Just got an email from my wife – after sending her some images for her screensaver at work – asking for more recent color images, „because the grey ones are so sad“
… well what to say. looking for more color stuff at once.

Portrait, Nikon F2 2.8/135 on new Kodak Portra 160 @100. Own scan for comparison as a follow-up on my last post on scanning services and resolution I paid for.
This is a first stumbling around, actually I cannot say what negafix-profile I used in Silverfast Ai and will have to continue (and calibrate my screen properly). When comparing this image/scan with the one done by open-eyes I notice the a bit more neutral colors in theirs, highlights appear a bit more whitish, while I prefer a bit more reddish overall tone. Still very natural skin tone. Have to experiment further.
For me noticing that the scan has so much influence on how the image comes across is a revelation and big challenge.
